Aashka Goradia is one of the most famous names in Bollywood these days. The 32-year-old actress rose to fame after portraying Kumud in Kkusum on Sony TV, and played the role of Kallavati in Laagi Tujhse Lagan. Naturally, Aashka's fame brings with it a hefty income. How much money does she make? What is the actress's net worth?
She Recently Married Brent Goble
Goradia met Brent Noble in Las Vegas in 2016. Then, on December 1, 2017, the couple tied the knot. According to the Indian Express, Goradia and Goble met at an event in the US and "hit it off immediately." Previously, Goradia had been involved in a 10-year relationship with actor Rohit Bakshi from 2006 to 2015.
Goble, her current husband, works as a weapons instructor and range safety officer in Las Vegas. The Indian Express reports Goradia as saying, "We wanted the same things from life and from each other. We aren’t teenagers anymore to speak of rebounds. I firmly believe that as we grow, we become more aware and capable of handling our emotions and life. Love is an individual experience, and rebound has nothing to do with it.”
Recently, Goble shared his first encounter with Goradia. Speaking to the Hindustan Times, he explained that he was spending the evening at a nightclub for some of his company's clients. Calvin Harris was one of the performers that evening, and while Goble was waiting for clients, he saw Aashka. "I noticed Aashka and her friend standing about 10 feet from my table. After exchanging a few glances, I invited her to sit with me. She and her friend agreed to give me company till my clients arrived. She was shy and to be honest, didn’t seem interested. I thought she was lovely, but I didn’t want to seem pushy.” Brent says the two kept in touch, and eventually fell in love.
She Has Appeared on Reality TV Shows
Along with her work in TV and film, Goradia has been part of reality television, which has boosted her net worth. In 2012, for example, she was a contestant on Big Boss 6. Additionally, she has appeared in reality shows such as Kabhi Kabhii Pyaar Kabhi Kabhii Yaar, Mr. & Ms. TV and Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 4. Goradia even appeared alongside her husband in the reality dance series Nach Baliye 8.
The actress gained traction in the industry on Achanak 37 Saal Baad and the sitcom Acting Acting. After appearing in Kkusum, she acted in the show Akela, also on Sony TV. Her performances have earned her awards like the Best Actor Popular in 2011 for Laagi Tujhse Lagan Colors and the ITA 2013 Best Actor for Maharana Pratap.
A portion of Goradia's "About Me" page on Facebook reads, "We are an entertainment starved generation. Life in essence has learnt to share space with the social connect we have grown attached to, just as the film industry has learnt to buckle up and share space with the daily soap. And to reign supreme here requires a heady mix of steely determination and volatile versatility to complement the talent. With a palette of acts, each having essayed paradigm shift in how we view the telly — from the demure housewife to the vampy sis-in-law, from the abused daughter to a lovelorn prostitute, from the hot nurse to amorous lover, this actor makes households sit up and take notice — yes, our very own … "Sarla"!!"
